    L425 Transmission Pumps

if you want to be safe, send them to Levi at the Loader source..www.loaderpartssource.com He will look at them and tell you what needs done to them. Don't quote me but I think he will do this for free. Knock on wood but I have not had to replace the pumps yet. I have had both drive motors...

    L425 Transmission Pumps

Schematics look very similar to the 555. I have had to pull pumps way to many times. Not that hard really. Your biggest issue is all of the levers that end up getting in your way to disconnect the hyd. lines. Once you get them out of the way, there are 2 bolts that hold the front and two bolts...

555LX Right Side Drive Not working

Pulled the side cover last night and found the problem. On the end of the splined shaft coming off of the drive motor the screw had broke that held the small sprocket on. This small sprocket drove the large sprocket that drives the chain. Found all of the pieces in the resevoir and grabbed a new...

555LX Right Side Drive Not working

After thinking about this more I am willing to bet that I broke a chain. I will be pulling the side cover tonight to find. I did some checking, local New Holland dealer wants $278 for the chain. What I think is the same chain at TSC is $57.99.

555LX Right Side Drive Not working

Took the supply hose and can spin the sprocket which sends fluid back up through the port so pretty sure lubrciation is not the issue. But now that I think about this should I be able to spin the sprocket freely? Can't recall how much I spun it so it could just be the play. Perhaps I need to...

555LX Right Side Drive Not working

Was thinking about this more....pretty sure issue was not lack of lubrication as no warning lights went off and the motor did not struggle at all. It just gave out and stopped driving. My thoughts are that if it was lack of lubrication that the motor would have stuttered for a bit.

555LX Right Side Drive Not working

Really don't want to swap the drive motors as it is not an easy task. When the drive motor went before it made an awful sound. This time around, no sound, it just stopped working. That right side drive motor in particular is a fair amount of work to get to the bolts to remove the motor. Guess I...

555LX Right Side Drive Not working

I think I know the answer here but just looking for another set of eyes. Lost all drive on the right side motor over the weekend. Makes no noise and no lights come on signalling low pressure. Levi at loadersource rebuilt the right side motor (complete rebuild including the shaft) less than 100...

    L555 Drain Plug Question

It is located on the left side of the machine near the front tire. You will have to remove the tire to get to the plug. It is a hex...just use a 1/2" drive. If you plan on draining the system it will take a couple of flushes.

L555 right side drive control linkage question.

U wanna buy one or 2? No help right now. Had help until my son was born 5 months ago today. Now the wife stays inside and it is just me. Doesn't get too bad until things start to break and usually when they do it comes like a flodod with everything happening at once. No millkkiees on our place...

L555 right side drive control linkage question.

Yes it does make life easier. Sounds like we have more in common than just the machine. I live on a farm as well and work a full time job off of the farm. We have 40 horses, all ours..no boarders, 10-15 cows, 5 ducks,1 chicken, 1 rooster, 1 sheep, and 2 goats. Prior to having this machine it was...

L555 right side drive control linkage question.

no parking brake? I always have to put the brake on when I exit otherwise it will creep. I am sure there is a way to adjust but I have never tried to. My guess is that it has to with the controls and the postion they are in....meaning in relation to the pumps (under the seat).

    NH l555 hydraulic problem?

On my LX555, it is not a brass screen but a plastic mesh screen. It is located by the right foot pedal. There is a screw off top that must be removed to pull the filter out. I am sure you can change it but I have always just cleaned mine with soap and water. Make sure to dry it out before...
