    Jokes

Hey did you hear about John Kerry? I just heard he actually served in Vietnam. Oh my gosh my golly, if he were just to let us know this info, I am sure he would have won the election. Or is this a red state blue stae issue. Or maybe just maybe I have transgressed. In defense of the joke it is...

    4 in 1 Buckets

Just review all my previous post cpncerning the subject. I seem to be one of the few in the states that agree with you.

    Landscape Rake Questions

In a perfect world and unlimted funds I would own a soil conditioner in a heart beat. I have been doing alot of lawn restructures and it is utterly fantastic. I also use it when I do final grades for landscapers. I have got it to such a sience that I windrow all debris into piles for the...

    Fair price?

My S-300 Gold package was 38,500 with a smooth low profile bucket. I am in an open county in Maryland so I can buy from three different dealers with no problems. I just played them al against each other and got a good price. Good luck, and by the way I love this machine for what I am using it...

    864wood, how's the S300?

The new machine is great as long as you are on dry pavement or dry dirt. If it is sloppy I am hating life until my new Grouser tracks were installed. I still miss my track 864 as you may have read the details in my latest postings.

    Flat Tires

As most posters will know by now I have the worst luck when it comes to equipment. A F------ flat tire on a brand new S-300 with less than 10 hrs. However, if you get a industrail truck tire pug kit from NAPA they hold up for darn near forever. I had a backhoe with a rear tire that we pluged no...

Can I add a cab, and which tires to buy??

Yes and yes. Does that help? I guess not. The cheapest place I have found for replacement tires that are comparable 12.5 x16 is on E-Bay. Deliverded to your door for less than you can get at a dealer and no sales tax if out of state. The glass cab enclosure is @$1000 for a G sreies loader. I...

T190 or over the tire tracks?

This is hopefully the post that has been inevitable. I purchased the S-300 and was despondent after my first backfill. I spent twice the time as opposed to my 864G loader. However the benifit of tires for the subsequent 6 snowstorms was enormous. There is nothing like tires for flat pavement and...

    Harley Rake

I would suggest either the Land Plane or the Soil Conditioner. If you go to the bobcat website you can download attachments for the attachments. The soil conditioner is cool and works well. I personally use if to tear up sod and do a basic minimal till job. The land plane looks interesting but I...

    compact track loaders

The advantage for tracks over tires are inconcievable. Just trust me when I say that I will always own a track machine. The countless flat tires in the worst possible places suck!!!!!!!!! With tracks just keep on swimming. I once had a piece of 3/8" rebar stuck thru the tracks and my joke always...

    compact track loaders

I regularly did house demos, basement foundation, footers etc with my track machine and made good money. My best advice is to go with a track machine with the 84" combo bucket. Go to my other postings about the advatages of the combo for my testimony. In my opinion the compact track loader...

    New T-300

Point well understood about the undercarrige freezing. The quickest way I know to stress the drive mechanism and all associated parts is to leave it caked up with mud, snow or dirt and let it freeze. To that end I had a wide variety of cleaning tools to clean every time I parked my 864G loader...

    New T-300

Trust me I will have a set of Grouser or loegering tracks as soon as humanly possible. You should see the damn mess I made of my back yard with a brand new S300. It never would have happened with a track machine. But this too shall pass.

    The Final Drive!!!

It's settled and the new machine will be a gold package S300. The quote was 35,875 and the extra cash may be used for an attachement or 2. I will post on Monday if I can bring it home. I sure hope so because I have a good paying job on tuesday to try it out on. The track loader will have to wait...

    New T-300

I have settled on the S-300. It should be able to handle the 84" combo bucket without major difficulties and should be alot smoother ride in parking lots pushing snow. I will post on Monday after I pick it up.
