610 driven sheave

I'm going to give it another try to upload pictures. I'm wondering if anyone has pictures of a modified driven sheave. ( bolted together). I only put about an hour on this machine myself so can't take credit for destroying this component but wish I'd seen what was happening before it completely bagged out.

This is one of the first items I warn people to check when purchasing a belt driven skidsteer. It is a major job and pricey to repair. I require my employees to grease the zerk on this shaft weekly (missing in your case) just so they see it on a regular basis. A sheave in this condition will eat a drive belt in very short order and can be dangerous. I once had one break the shaft and parts hit the bottom of the operators seat.
All parts are available (at a price) and IMHO I would spend the time and money to restore it to original…..provided the rest of the machine is in respectable condition.

Yea, I knew it needed work but didn't realize the extent of the damage until it walked off 2 of the 3 spring bolts. I managed to get some used pins off ebay but the wear has gone thru the bushings and into the sheave. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up to work on it. That's the thing, people come from all walks of life. I don't have a shop or the financial resources to do much with it, matter of fact our family may not even have a place to live in not too long. I was very fortunate to find / buy this machine for a very little price with hopes to tinker around the yard. I've always wanted a bobcat since i was a kid. I'd be content to get it going enough to play with it a little. I did build some forks and was able to load some scrap onto my trailer, grinning from ear to ear. I love the machine, just need to make it usable.
