Converting Hand Controls to Foot Controls

What does it take to convert an AHC machine to foot pedal controls? Can I keep the original handles and just run linkage parts from tilt/lift spools to foot pedals? My drive control linkage is the round rod style with ball joints. The machine is an 863 F-series with AHC hand controls.

Since yours sounds to be fairly early one, it maybe not to bad. Early AHC use free floating actuators the pinned on to a pretty standard control vavle. If that's the case, adding foot linkage I don't think would be that big of deal. I'm not sure if your vavle still has the float fiction itself as AHC did not have float. If your actuators bolt directly to the control, you may need a few more pieces to make it.like a foot control unit. These are my basic thoughts.

Bobcatdan, Not sure if I understand what you mean about the float function. I don't think there is a float detent in any of the spools. The actuators were originally the free floating kind, however, one of them has now been replaced by a bolt on kind which is attached via adapter. I've heard something about spool lengths being different between versions, does this effect compatibility with foot pedals?
