S250 hydraulic fluid into chain case

I'm losing my hydraulic fluid into the chain case. Is this a big fix ? It happened a few years back. the service at bobcat replaced both pumps only to find from bobcat that there was a $20 part that fixed it. anyone know what that part might me for the advenrturist like me ? Thanks, Doug
 
There are case drain filters that return oil from the drive motors i believe. Aluminium cans on the lines. When they get plugged they increase the pressure on a seal between the motors and motor carrier. Ensure the filters are clean/new then replace the seals on the drive motor carriers. You should be pretty well set.
The dealer should have known this, the pumps have nothing to do with pumping oil into the chain case..... I hope you didn't have to pay for that.

My bearings are out on my s250 on my carrier motor in my chain case and my hydraulic oil was blowing into the chain case and draining out of my chain case plug because someone removed the rear plug therfor
Never building pressure in pumps on one side it would t move on that side does this sound correct to anyone

The seals in your motor carrier are what keep the oil from going into the chain case. Bad bearings normally always means bad seals also.

The chain case is only an oil bath for the chains, motor carrier and axle bearings. It does not hold any sort of pressure and is not filled from any of the hydraulics/hydrostatics. It is filled up to the bottom of the front inspection plug during maintenance.

No oil in the chain case is probably why your carrier bearings went bad. I would also be worried about my axle bearings if I were you.

My plan of attack is going to be replacing all seals bearing and motor seals
All lower end and putting plug back into rear of my chain case before filling it back up and puttin pressures back to this machine . I bought this machine at auction knowing it had isuues hoping I could figure them out and I can nickel and dime my way into a machine rather than paying 20k for one line it has a lot of rust in chain case areas and hydralics
Look to be pretty dirty in the aluminum filter areas . Hoping that going to be lest of my worried motor runs exceptional only 2300 hours on it just a abusied 2300
