How to know what series?

F have rectangular headlights and the key switch is on the left. G have trianglar headlights and the key is on the right.

So where do you find this information? What series is my 743B, key on left round headlights? Thanks Dan

your 743b would be a b series. the first 753s with the vertical number decals and square headlights was c series. then the f series came out with the stripes. then the g series came with the new cab. then they changed to the s series.

743B is what the name inplys, b series. Then when 753,7753,853,863,873 first came out, they were C series. Very little difference between C and F series. G have the nicer cab and more electronics. K series are about the same as a G, but have a hydraulic cooling fan and beefier drive chains. The new body style is the M series.
