I'm lookin at buyin an ols Case 60xt. It runs good and operates the grapple bucket fair. Good tires. I got him down from 6000 to 3300. The only problem I see is it turns pretty slow. I'm not familiar with the hydraulic systems. Is this maybe a problem that would kill the deal because of price of repair?

It could be the drive motors or the pumps, hard to say without having the machine in front of you and able to do more tests or inspections.

Would it be worth replacing them for the price I' paying for the machine?

I decided to let this one go considerin the cost of drive motors and pumps. I wouldn't trust a rebuild.
It really is hard to know. The pumps or motors can generally be repaired at minimal cost, but there is always a chance that it could be more serious.
I'm sure you will find a machine in good condition that will serve you well.
