I'm repowering my 743B with a kubota V2203 that used to be in a refrigeration unit. Replacing a V1702. Trying to hook up the electrical. There is one wire that goes from the engine harness to the engine coolant temp sender. The part on the V2203 that appears to be the temp sender is on the top next to the glow plugs. It has two wires coming out of the top - suggesting there should maybe be two wires from the harness. Should there be another wire in the harness, or should I twist these two together? Thanks!

Just use the sender from the V1702. The refer unit likely had electronic controls and needed the two wire sender.
The Bobcat 753 had a V2203 in it and used the same sender(part#6658818) as the 743B with the V1702.

Hang on to the old engine to make sure you don't need parts from it I have heard that the govener on your new engine might be set to low for what you need some one that knows will chime in if you find this

Thanks! I will repost the governor problem once I get there unless someone steps in with a clue for me.
