I have an 1840 case skidsteer mid 90's, been a great machine. I have been nursing it threw my jobs but it is getting harder. Now the left hand side is very slow much slower than right. And sometimes when warm it wont even move. I'm not sure if it is a hydro pump and or a drive motor or if there is an adjustment somewhere. It just doesn't have the power it once had. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be great.

If it has power going back but not forward I would think it would be ajustment if not I would swap the motors and see if the problem follows if so it is the motor might get lucky and just be orings but becareful motors are timed and have to seal the threads on the bolts or they will leak

Also might be a loose fitting just not moving the shaft

Avoid operating it until you get it fixed. If something comes apart on a pump or motor, it can damaged something else $$$$. See if you can swap lines to a motor from one side to another and narrow it down to a pump or motor.
