Hi guys, on my 873 the charge pressure light comes on momentarily when cycling boom or bucket when cold, Not while moving machine though. Drives seem to be louder and moan and groan more. Seems better in warmer weather. I've topped it off before with universal trans hydraulic oil meeting specs for the big farm and construction equipment manufacturers. Plan to hit up the bobcat dealer tomorrow and buy new hydraulic filters, oil, fuel and 5 gallons of bobcat oil to change the hydraulic oil. The oil I've topped it off with hasn't been noted for good cold weather performance (oops). Does this seem like a viscosity problem to you guys? Still spins around on pavement fine.

Forgot to mention it hasn't been bad at 40 degrees Farenheight. It bothered a lot more 30F and colder, but if you got the hydraulics good and warm the light would stay off. 873 has 4300 hours

You are going to need more than 5 gal to get it flushed out I use 15-40 in my 743 others use 10-30 10-40

I'd like to hook up a pressure gauge to see what the charge pressure really is. When the oil is cold, naturally it is thicker.
hydro filter? does it quiet down after warmed up? it should only take aminute of running it and the oil will be hot
