I have watched a few videos on changing the fuel filter in my 463 diesel, and I have changed a ton of them on cars, but I must be doing something wrong. What is the start to finish procedure? When I loosened the filter fuel came out as I would expect, however, it never stopped or slowed down whatsoever! It would be a disaster for me to remove it all the way because I am afraid it would pour fuel everywhere. Am I missing something here? Why does the fuel keep on coming? Thanks! Trev

Did you turn off the fuel valve?
Damn I am dumb. That's the issue. I'm surprised in other write ups and how-to vids no one talked about that. I just quick switched the filters out and lost some fuel. All good now. Thanks!!
