I have a 743 Bobcat that I am going to put a cab heater in. Does anyone know where to tie the lines off the heater into the cooling system on the Bobcat? Any help or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Normally they remove the by-pass hose on the thermostat housing and install the hoses here.

So that won't hurt anything to just remove the bypass hose and run the line to my heater from that? Do you know where the return line coming off the heater typically goes into? I have a tank heater that heats the engine block and I was thinking I would T back into that return line for the return on the cab heater. There also looks to be a threaded plug right where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine, right by the bypass hose - Do you think it would be alright to unthread that plug and tie into that for the cab heater? I appreciate your help!

The ones i have seen just plumb into where the by-pass hoses goes, so you have two ports to hook up to.
Where i live, it never gets cold enough to need a heater, so i have never personally hooked one up.
Hopefully someone that has done an install can give you their 2c worth on it.

Thanks for your help! It seems like that is the way to go! Remove the bypass hose and install the heater into the two ports where the bypass hose was. Thanks again
