I have a jcb 155 skid steer with a 3cyl Perkins and when it gets cold it will not start I put a Herman Nelson at the back to warm the engine and still no start. It has a new lift pump an new pickup tube and fuel lines to the injection pump. This is a brand new machine and shouldn't do this. I put lighter weight oil in and lighter weight hydraulic oil. The glow plugs are working. I need more ideas Thanks

Are you running winter fuel? if not, it could have geled up so it's not making it to the pump. Even ice in the fuel filter could be the cause.

No it's got good fuel new filter I just checked it again and no fuel coming to the injectors when I crack a line. Do you know if there is a minimum from before the shut off solnoid will open.

It should open as soon as you start cranking the engine. I don't know the style of shut down solenoid that is fitted if it is internal or external. But which ever one it is, when you are cranking it should be open to allow fuel to get to the pump.
It is possible there is a cracked fuel pickup tube or even blocked screen in the tank.

New pickup tube and all lines to injection pump including fuel filter housing. It has good flow on the return side line going back to the tank when I pull it off

That rules out a puckup line issue, i wonder if the solenoid is sticking from the cold?

It may be but it's looks like a built in soilinoid how would I check this
I'd remove it and see if the plunger moves freely out of the machine. Also ensure you are getting power to it when it cranks, if it's not, the solenoid will not allow fuel to get to the pump. If it is doing this, it's possible the relay that drives it could be bad causing it to not work in the cold...
