My 853 open cab, seat has had it. It now has a standard seat. I was wanting to know, what seat choices I have. To up grade in comfort, through bobcat or aftermarket. I have found one through A&I products ( sister company to John Deere for $130.00) thanks for your help and opinions.

I bought a semi-suspension seat for my 743 after market. Bobcat wanted about 500 for a standard one without rails. I got a complete seat with rails for 150 AUD. The price you got sounds pretty good to me.

My only concern is, although it says its for bobcat brand machines the model number is not shown. In the catalog under the ad. it says universal. So I am little leary. But it is cheap enough to put up with a little concern.

Worst case you may need to re-drill some holes. The only problem you *may* have is the seat sensor if its fitted.

Northern tool is a good idea. My machine does not have a seat sensor. So that is one less problem. thanks for the help.

Northern actually carries the exact suspension seat that was in my 93 753 for 150 dollars. The type where the front of the seat cushin is the pivot point and the rear goes up and down with the backrest.
