i have a 2002-773g bcat and the fuel guage stopped working. its probably the sender. my ? is can i get at that thing without removing the engine or could the problem possibly be a fuse? thanks.....BW
darn fish i did not know that been getting by with 1/11/16. got a mel #?It can be done , it is a really snug fit as you slide it out the tank as it hits the Sunstrand coming out on your machine , be careful to not put a permenant bend in it . before you pull it check the plug and wires at the plug good as I see a lot of times the pump will rub up against the plug and damage it or the wires ------------ did you know Bobcat sells a special socket that will fit the sender . it also fits the new style quick couplers that screw into the manifold block on the boom of the machine
where would i even start. i have a good idea where it is from the shop manual. do i go in from the left side where the battery is? or the right side or somehow else? it probably is the sender cuz the first time the gauge failed it actually clicked back in after a bit when i was using the cat then hasn't worked since. any guidance appreciated. thanks.....BWdarn fish i did not know that been getting by with 1/11/16. got a mel #?

I think the part number of the socket is on the top of it , I'll look for you today ----Lift the cab, it will on the right behind the drive pump.
