I have an LS170 and the switch for the work lights on the front and rear is acting up. When you switch it to front lights only they work fine but if you switch it to front and rear work lights only the rear lights work. Also I need to know how to add oil to the chaincase on this machine.

The chain cases (2 separate ones) have a level plug one each side of the machine between the tires. The drain plugs are at the front of the machine underneath where the boom contacts the loader when fully lowered.
As for the electrical, I would say it is likely the switch itself.

Thanks This will help a lot anything else you can think of for the electrical.

The light that work don't flash or flicker? they work fine just the fronts don't come on when you select "all lights"
Remove the switch and take you test light, find the teminal where power come on when the front lights work, in front lights only position on switch, then put the switch in the all lights postin and see if that terminal still has power. If not its the switch. Thats my bet
