bucket wont operate

What do you mean, the aux hydraulics? it won't lift or tilt?
If no lift or tilt, check that your safety interlocks are working. If it thinks yiou are not in the seat, it will lock you out. It could be a bad lockout coil or stem too, depending on if its new enough to have an electric lockout system attached.

Sorry, I got called away yesterday and couldn't continue. One of our guys hit a stump with the bucket. Right after that he was moving away and the unit just went dead. We found a mouse-eaten wire from the seat safety switch and repaired it. Now the unit will run but the bucket won't tilt and the tilt handle is locked up.

Still sounds like a lockout device is locking up... I wonder if the impact damaged the stem? or some other part of the lockout setup.
