I am currently in the process of looking for a track loader, I've always just assumed bobcat was the best but before going and spending the money I want to get some feed back on which brand to go with as far the best bang for your buck and duribility. Thanks Also I need to buy a backhoe attachment, I've already been told most people end up up grading to a mini excavator down the road but that option isn't in the buget at this time, I've been looking at some models such as the Wallenstien, Bobcats attachment and quick attach attachment inc, any advice here would be nice aswell thanks

DUDE FIND A 763 F MODEL WITH LOW HRS A 709 PLENTY OUT THERE. THE 763 NO BOSS:::: IF YOU CAN GET MAINTANCE RECORDS ALL THE BETTER. IF NOT PRIOR TO COMMIT SUCK IT UP AND PAY DEALER TO SERVICE. 300 WELL SPENT GIVES YOU WIGGLE ROOOM ON DEAL . DEALER WILL GIVE YOU AN EXACT PRICE FOR KNIKLE DIME AS WELL AS MAJOR IF I WAS BUYING I WOULD PM 1000HR AND START FRESH/ A COMPRESSION CHECK ON POWER PLANT GLOW PLUG AND INJECTOR CHECK WOULDNT HURT. AS FAR AS BOBCATS GO BEST OUT THERE YOU WANT LOADER BACKHOE GET A CASE YOU WANT A DOZER BUY A CAT.FARM TRACTOR JHONDEERE.KEEP IN MIND THAT IS JUST ONE MANS OPIONION BUT , I AM A CASE CETIRFIED MASTER TECH 5 YRS AT DEERE AND 15 AT BOBCAT AS A HEAVY EQUIP TECH. IF YOU HAVE FURTHER QUESTIONS GLAD TO ASSIST

IF YOU HAVE TO HAVE ATRAK UNIT .ASK AROUND THE CAT UNDECARIIGE IS FALLING APART. WORD ON THE STREET IS PWR PLANT LIKES TO SWALLOW TURBOS. ASV RUN AWAY MUSTANG /JOHNDEERE NO PARTS NO SERVICE, TACKEHUCCHIE NOT A BAD UNIT.WORTH LOOKING INTO, BUT AS WITH ALL HEAVY EQUIP MAINT IS THE KEY. TREAT HER RIGHT, SHELL BE OK IF SHES DAMAGED GOODS YOUVE GOT A HARD ROW TO HOE.

If you are budgeting yourself then a wheeled machine with tracks over some type of no flat tires ( lots of threads on that subject ) would be a good opition for you , track machines can be high maintance and if you buy one used you are taking a crap shot at major expense out your pocket down the road ---------------------- the 753, 763 , 773 were the most reliable machines Bobcat ever built and easy to work on , the newest model Bobcats as far as I am concerned are junk , I would never buy one , too much electrical components , wiring and Tier 4 engines , you can expect to loose time to : the machine making trips to the shop --------------- went to do a complete service on a new Bobcat yesterday and the guy wanted every filter changed , most of the filters are not interchangable yet and probally won't be for a couple of years , all the filters including cab air inner and outer , hydraulics and oil was $400 , the outer air alone was $64 and is now square not round , you need to fill the tank with the UREA , the catalitic covertor has to be scrubber every so many hours , 4 on board conrtrollers , software programs running the machine and a mile of wiring -------------- Takeuchi is the most reliable track loader out there right now , but it only comes joystick , the good thing about there joystick is it is low over high pressure hydraulics and not fly by wire as is Bobcat , Mustang and Geil are the same machine with different paint and decals so you can get parts from Takeuchi if you know what to ask for

I searched Tier 5 and didn't really get anything , but I am sure it is in the works ........ during the search I did see where our grrrrreat ( thats sarcasim ) State of California , which seems to me to be the head quarters for the enviromental wack-O's wants catalitic convertors on lawn mowers and remote controlled gas powered model planes , cars and boats , what ever happens there usually happens to the rest of the country a few years down the road ............next they will want a catalitic convertor hooked to everyones butt's to remove the methan from farts .................
