Hi, Mike here, living and working in Brisbane. Been a motor mech since 1971 , now specialize in Carburation only as I am getting a bit long in the tooth to be bench pressing transmissions under cars/trucks. Just put a post in "Other Brands" no sure if its in the right spot or not, but own a "wierdo Skid-Steer" that dosent come under any of the other headings.. Got an issue with it that I am hoping others can help with.. Cheers for now.. Mike.

Not another one :)
There are more and more of us aussies popping up on the forum. Hopefully we can sort out the issue you have, with a bit of luck, its something simple.
Where in Brisbane are you? i'm from the southside.

I am in Logan , Waterford West to be more presise, the issue i have I posted in "other" brands in the forums above, due to the fact my cat is an ex-telecom BHB Dirt Devil , dunno if others "name" thier machines, but I named this one Fritz, as in Fritz the (bob)cat...

I've got a few pet names for my Thomas loader but I can't repeat any of them in a public forum. They mostly come out of my mouth when I'm bleeding from various parts of my body.

Sorry, i shouldn't laugh, i know how that goes all too well. I have three band-aids on my hands right now. It was from working on my car, i'd have more if i was working on my bobcat.....

Fritz has never hurt me personally since I owned him, BUT, I do know from experiance that he can decapitate a 6x4 garden shed in under 0.0003 milliseconds , when one of the control rods snaps of the directional drive motors one side..
Wife just looked up at the noise, shook her head and looked away.... sigh, wasent even MY fault (that time)

Oh dear, at least it can be fixed.
I have done a few things like that, but that was from pushing a little too far with what i was doing. I built a concrete retaining wall. I was back filling and got a little close and put too much pressure on a post, SNAP.... All things that can be and were repaired, but not something you want to do often.
