Is there anyway to adjust the lift pedal on a 743? Mine lifts very slow and doesn’t have the power it should. Everything else works fine lower and float and the bucket tilt works fine. Thanks

there are 2 bolts below the pedal that are in slotted holes, these allow the angle of the pedal to be adjusted. Also there are linkages and bushings for the pedals that could be worn and not moving the spool fully. If the spool is moving fully, then there may be a problem with low hydraulic pressure.

743 has a float position?

i too was curios of this,id like to know how if it does
The float position is achieved by pressing the left pedal all the way down and then forcing it past a detent. It will stay in float until you select up for your lift arms. My advice on experimenting with this is to be careful not to have any down force on the bucket (tilt all or most of the way back). Later on, there may be times when you vary your selection technique.

I got the block heater for my 743b and it's bobcat part # 6 720 736. Not sure if its the same for 743. When ordering they told me it was the frost plug in the head near the fan shroud. Turns out it's an inside one under the gas tank etc. I don't think I'm going to go through all that to install it. I was under the impression when I bought it you didn't need to drain coolant etc. Unless someone has experience installing in another location I will return the part, or do you want to buy it? My predicament is in my other thread here: http://www.skidsteerforum.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=54&frmView=ShowPost&PostID=40177
I haven't heard too much good stuff about magnetic heaters and am also wondering about the 'in line' types.
