Hi, New poster here......cool forum.... I have an old 610 that I've had for about 5 years. Been a pretty good runner with the usual problems, small oil leaks, cold starter, etc....however for the most part it's been good. All of the sudden during the huge snowstorm we had (Minnesota) the hydraulics and speed control stopped working. Fluid is full and the machine runs fine, however up and down on the bucket and the speed control lever do nothing. My thinking is it is probably the Hydraulic Pump and it needs replacing. Anyone ever done this before and if so, is it a pretty big project? I'm not a huge wrench turner but am pretty decent with the Bobcat, since I grew up on the farm with this model. Also, if it would be the hydraulic pump, what should one pay for a new one? The bobcat dealer near my house, Lano, says it'll be about 400 bucks for a new one but that I shouldn't put a new one in until they can verify that the pump is the problem. what else could it be? Thanks for any advice!
