Hello all and thanks in advance for any help. Have a 642 that the right side hydro as you sitting in the cab has no power at all going forward but full power for backing up or back dragging. Talked to some techs and they think it is the relief valve on the forward side of the hydro. If this is so does anyone have a sugestion as to where to get one? Thank you,

As I remember there is a relief for both directions and the service manual says to swap them to test. It also seems one is on top and one is on botttom of each pump (4 total). If I am remembering correctly you might be able to change both the top side valves to verify your problem. That is not what the service manual suggests. The service manual suggests the valves of one pump be swapped(top to bottom and vise versa). Just a thought and parts are available.

Thank you for the info. I will swap them and check the result. Where can i get parts if i need them?

I dont remember what kind of pumps those were but cessna come to mind. All-hydraulic.com has a number on their site to connect you to a real person. I try to use the OEM as much as possible. Give a call to BC and see what they have. It seems like alot of the 600 and 700 series from that vintage used the same hydro pumps.

Sorry about thinking it was a cessna but I couldn't remember.
There are so many different pumps used, you can't be expected to remember them all :)
The only reason i remember it, is because i have spent far too many hours on 743s, they use the same pump setup.
