Thanks..found a few outfits that can supply the units out of Alberta. They also rebuild them. Ken what border are you on?I'm not aware of anyplace here besides the dealers.
I can help with shipping and brokerage if needed. I live on the border and do my own brokerage paper work.

Ontario-Minnesota right near ManitobaThanks..found a few outfits that can supply the units out of Alberta. They also rebuild them. Ken what border are you on?
It has been a learning experience. The bottom line is bobcat parts are 65% to 125% more than OEM parts. In this case my hydrostatic drive is made by Sauer Dan-Foss. I was able to get a new unit direct from SDF ( dealers ) for about 45% of the quoted bobcat price. At the moment I am having my unit being looked at to see if it can be overhauled. If not I will go with the new SDF replacement unit. I couldn't find an overhauled unit in Canada, but did find one south of the border. I have decided to see if mine is repairable.Ontario-Minnesota right near Manitoba

Unless something let go and punched a hole, it will be repairable. Generally new wear plates and rotating groups will bring it back to new condition. If its anything like the sauer-danfoss pumps in Bobcats, just over $1,000 of parts will get it back to as new condition. New rotating groups, wear plates and a seal kit. Pretty much nothing else wears. The bearings run in an oil bath.It has been a learning experience. The bottom line is bobcat parts are 65% to 125% more than OEM parts.
