Bobcat 863 unable to turn left or right. Any suggestions for fixing this problem?

Hello Everyone - I am a new user with a question about my Bobcat 863. The machine has 3,692 hours of use on it. A few days ago, it was leaking oil from the control valve. My mechanic replaced a couple of seals which stopped the leak. Unfortunately a new problem arose - the Bobcat will only move forward and backwards, we cannot turn left or right and have no idea what the cause is. Any one know what area(s) we shuold focus on? Perhaps its a part that we need to change. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Your saying both (because they are 2 separate systems) the rh and lh drives are to weak to turn the machine? They only have enough power to roll in a straight line?

Ken, yes. We put the Bobcat on blocks, turned the engine on and found that both drives move - forward and back. When we put the tires on, it does roll in straight line (slowly) BUT does not turn left or right. Thanks for your interest and help.

What does it do when you try and move left or right?
Have you checked your drive belt? it may be loose and slipping. When you try and turn, you are putting a LOT more load on the engine, if the belt slips its simply not reaching the pump to give you the drive power.

Gentlemen - so far we have checked the drive belt and it is fine. What we found is that a couple of the Solenoids in the control valve are bad. We are hoping that upon changing all 4 or 5 in the control valve our trouble will be solved. Stay tuned.....
