Quick question having problems to lock down the pedal for back dragging is there some type of adjustment somewhere to correct this ,pedal just goes all the way down but won't lock Thanks

If you hold the pedal down and the boom will float while back draging then the spool in the valve is making the full stroke, the problemis likely the detent balls and spring for the lift spool of the main hyd valve. The detent parts are about $1.00, the hassel to replace is much greater.
Some can be fixed in the machine, other require removing the main hyd valve, you should change the seals in the valve if you remove it as they are not expensive either, but plan 4 to 6 hours for the job unless this one is alot easier to gain acess to then a 553.

When I first got my used 773G Turbo, I thought I had that problem but found that I just had to press the pedal harder and hold it down.

Hey Ken Thanks for the advise but when i press the pedal all the way down it just raises the wheels all the way up and even when i back up they just stay Raised Arms will not float at all?

Are you using the correct pedal? is should be the left one, the one for the lift arms, not the tilt cylinder. You shouldn't push the machine off the ground as the arms will only go so low. Push it down, it will shistle, then a bit further and it should *click* and the pedal should stay there.
Now in float mode you should be able to tilt the bucket forward and the arms should raise up without using the left pedal.

If it hasn't been put in float for a while it may take a good kick to get the pedal to move the spool far enough to lock in the detent position.
