Hello all, new to the site, was looking to see if anyone might have insight to a problem I have on my 773. Use it primarily for the backhoe attachment and probably have not used it as a loader in two years. Well went to drop the backhoe and put the loader bucket on but have no power to the lift arms and tilt and lift pedals are locked. When I lower the driver restraint arm I get no indication that the switch is activating and pressing the press to operate loader button does nothing. Tried removing the plug to the driver restraint arm switch and jumpering the contacts but that did nothing as well. Are there any fuses that I should check? Thanks for your help.

Howdy and welcome.
We need a little more info. Do you have a G-series machine with dash lights, or an F-series machine with lights on the box on the rear wall by your right elbow when driving?
F-series: Fuses and relays in the right rear of engine compartment.
G-series: Fuses and relays under a cover down between your feet when driving.
Check them all first.
Good Luck.

It is a G series. Checked all the fuses and relays, all were good. It has been so long since I used it as a loader, but I seem to recall when you lowered the driver restraint arm that something clicked or lit up on the dash. Nothing happens which makes me think that circuit may not be completing. I appreciate the help but any guess as to the next move?

You're getting no codes? Three beeps and a code displayed in your left panel hourmeter window?

No codes. Just the countdown of the glo plug timer and then it goes straight to hours displayed.
Been a while since I looked at machine but I may have found the problem today. It looks like the seat bar safety switch was stuck. After raising and lowering seat bar many times I finally got indicator to light on dash. When that was lit I was able to activate the operate loader button and all controls worked. Have sprayed WD-40 all around switch in hopes that some will get in there but if I have to replace switch no big deal. Just a little bit more info to add to the database.

The switch i believe is done with a magnet, its not mechanical as such but the WD40 may help it all move a little easier. At least you know if it gives you more trouble its easy enough to swap out now that you know where the problem is.
