Howdy....having a hard time trying to figure out where to connect heater hoses to on the Kubota D1402. I got the JEGS heater installed and it only blows cold air. I tried switching the hoses as shown in the pics provided...even took out the thermostat to rule that out. Still blows cold air. Guessing how to do this is failing me...any help hugely appreciated.

Did you mount the heater above the radiator or below? I assume it would be mounted lower but I have saw heaters mounted from the ceiling due to lack of space. If mounted higher the chance of an air lock is greater. Im not familiar with the 1402, can you post a pic of the heater in the cab?

Hi reaper man the photos already provided show the heater it's located on the lower right of the engine bay kind of hard to see sorry about that but yeah it's really low

Im sorry I didnt see the heater in the compartment. I forgot there is actually some room under the hood on these machines (the good old days). Again Im not familiar with this engine setup. On my 753 (without heat) Im pretty sure they plumb the heater hoses out of that short 3 or so inch line just to the left of where you did next to the big radiator hose. I've toyed with adding heat so I made a mental note as to where to run the lines. That part of the engine resembles the v2203 setup. I hope someone else can help out further than I did. Maybe google engine compartment pictures on the 1402.

Question, how does the heat from the Jegs box get inside of the cab? I was under the impression that it blows from the heat exchanger within the box, or is there factory ducting that its hooked to ?

Hi I'll let you know the rest once I get it all figured out but I am using dryer vent tubing hose to go from the jegs to the front of the cab kind of got a weave it around and squish it once but it works

It almost looks like you could have crammed one of those Chinese diesel heaters in the spot. Those give off alot of heat, and have a smaller tube to direct the heat to.

Yeah I'm thinking I might have maybe should have gone that route instead with the diesel

Re-routed hoses for the JEGS 28K BTU heater and made damn sure all the air was bled out of the system...and it still blows cold air. Got it plumbed right into my new radiator hoses. What am I missing? I don't understand why this wouldn't work. Banging head. Need outside help from others. I just don't get it. Thanks and happy Veterans' Day to all our Vets.

SOLVED: Turns out the problem here has nothing to do with hose routing...I put in an after-market water temp gauge which revealed the machine runs very cool (145 degrees). So to get any heat out of it, I blocked-off most of the radiator just like we do sometimes in the coldest days of winter. My guess is that it may be better for the engine to run a bit hotter anyways. I get nice heat in cab if I push the water temp up to anywhere between 180 and 210.
