Where I worked, we did not rebuild or adjust pressures on the injectors, we just replaced them if they failed testing. but that was not a New Holland dealership. My service manual has about 5 pages of instructions on rebuilding the injector for the LX985. not so much on the 865, but probably similar process with different numbers in the specs chart. or maybe not..
( the pop off pressure on the 985 is mentioned at 4200 psi. you need a pop tester to do this. )
the guys rebuilding our engines with similar injectors sealed the bore around the injector with rtv sealant to keep the bore dry. probably more than one cylinder head was returned as a core because they could not get the injector out. ( without damaging the cyl head casting)
