My Bobcat 533 has a couple leaks. The hydraulic tank leaks down over time. Holds like 3 gallon of motor oil and is not a pressure leak but if I let it set for 3 or 4 weeks it leaks out. Wet on the ground under it but I cant find the leak anyplace. Hard to see down in there though but just cant find it. Now I have sprung a leak on the rear axle. I havnt used it in a couple months and was looking at it last weekend and seen oil had run down the tire and pretty wet on the ground. Anyone here ever changed a axle seal on one of these older small skidsteers? What am I getting into? Cant find anything on google for my model 533.

You can look at the exploded view of the axle on this site:

Just enter in your serial number or model number and then search "axel"

If you have two piece axels, the seal are not too hard to replace. If you have one piece axels the axel needs to be removed and the rear axels can be difficult.

To find your leak, the best way is to clean the machine under the cab and then monitor it to find the leak.
