I purchased a used 345 and the hydraulics are extremely fast when engine rpm is increased to operating speed (3000 rpm). The forward and reverse speed is ok, just the bucket and lift hydraulics. It is almost dangerous, especially when working with others or in tight spaces. Decreasing the engine rpm will decrease the hydraulic speed but also decrease the power of them. Is there an adjustment on the pump to slow it down?

I generally run my machines at lower RPM, I don't need it to run flat out.
It's possibly just something you need to get used to how touchy the controls are. There won't be an adjustment to lower the flow/slow the controls down that I know of.

Think I have found the issue. The parts book indicates a "restrictor" in the lift hydraulic circuit. Mine is missing. Not sure what it looks like or how big of orfice it has. Anybody out there that can tell me??
