Harmonic balancer bolt lht or rht

Hi Guys, Just popping off the cover to set the timing for my fuel injector pump and need to remove the Harmonic Balancer Big Bolt. Can some one please help, Is it Right Hand Thread or Left Hand Thread ? Any other tips on doing this greatly appreciated too Owatonna Mustang 441 Engine is a Perkins 4.108 Many thanks Maddy

I don't believe the bolt will be left hand thread.
You will need to lock the pump, and cam shaft in place or make sue you line marks up to ensue everything is still in time correctly. I don't know how it's done on your motor, but you need to ensure everything is lined up or you risk bending valves or push rods.

Thanks Tazza, RHT it is (normal direction) I will ensure to locktite the thing back in so it doesnt unscrew Maddy
