Swapping a 2203 into a 743B. They offered a replacement v1903 engine for the 743B, but I cannot track down if that came with a factory rear mount? The bolt circle on back of a 1903/2203 is a bit larger diameter, as is the rear main seal carrier. I hacked one to work, but it is not very elegant. Anyone seen a better option?

I had always thougt the bolt pattern back there was the same on the 1702/1903/2203, glad you managed to make it work, just cut the hole a little larger?

I had to enlarge the hole around 1cm and slot the mounting bolt holes outward about the same. The 03 series has a bigger rear main seal carrier and the ring of 10x1.25mm mounting holes has a corresponding greater diameter. I made a jig out of 3/4" plywood that let me just drag my plasma cutter around and make the main hole larger

Awesome job, as the starter mounts to this plate as well, you got it spot on.
