N844 Fuel Injector Pump Assembly

Cleaned the shut off gear and now slides freely. However, noticed the pump was removed previously. Curious is there is a specific degree or clock location for the 4 gears connected to the shutoff slide and throttle linkage...? For example, I just put the slot at 3 o'clock with the slide flush with the pump. I started a new thread since the injector pump was definitely stuck in the off position with the slide until I disassembled and cleaned. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I couldn't figure out how to edit or delete the post after the link didn't work. Going to install tomorrow as indicated. Would like to have a more detail assembly document.

It is almost mandatory that you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, and I have noticed that on later releases, you have to put IE in compatibility mode. I have also had some luck with Google Chrome, running an IE emulator, but it starts to bog down after a few screen refreshes.

Installed and now running...!!! Still curious what is the proper procedure to set the gears on each of the four outlets on the pump.
