I'm currently working on repowering a 1978 Bobcat 722 that I recently bought. It had been repowered before me w/ a Wisconsin V4 that the previous owner had pulled out of it prior to me purchasing it for a blown head gasket. Long story short I had my mechanic friend look at the Wisconsin and his professional opinion was that it was not worth the cost to rebuild. I had since found a run Mercedes OM636 diesel that came out of a semi reefer unit. It is liquid cooled and a previous owner of my Bobcat had removed to original radiator. I am having trouble finding the radiator for the 722, I can find ones that say they'll fit the 722s and other Bobcats but the filler neck is in the wrong location to work in the stock position/location on the 722. Has anyone retrofitted another radiator into the 722 and if so how did you do it? Or does anyone know of where I can find a radiator for the 722? Thanks, Mike

Even with the filler neck in the wrong spot, with the cover that sits over it, does it matter? A it should be below this cover. As long as the inlet and outlet pipes are in the right spot, it should be ok.
Does it still have a blower to push air through it?

The radiator I've found is designed to lay flat Vs the OEM radiator is in an upright position. Yes the blower fan is still there along w/ the oil cooler. The more and more I look for a radiator I'm leaning toward an universal aluminum radiator and retrofitting it into the stock location.

I'd look at a universal one too, as long as it gets enough coolant flow to cool enough, i see no issues.
