So I got a 630 bobcat . it ran on and off trailer. Paid 300.00 for it. Pulled engine. Governer control not right. Also I mounted an alternator on the back of engine. Using a Chevy small block pulley .it seems to work. Idiot light goes off when it f fires a bit. Have a newly overhauled carb and put electric ignition. Have checked timing and compression. My governer rod is right under carb. And carb linkage is on other side. Have read posts on it. But I need pictures of one. Please. Will put pictures as soon as I figure out how.

Hello anyone home. A text to 5123673888. And ill reply. Thanks .
Not home, but at work.
Have you tried a google image search for your engine model to see if anything there helps?
Being an old machine, a reply may take time, if you get any at all, depends if another member has one that can provide an image or not.

Instead of trying a narrow search, try a wider one on the engine that includes videos:

VH4D Governor Linkage

The throttle position on any application sets the governor, so once the engine is set up the rest is easy.
thank you so much this did bring up sites I had not seen. I haven't looked at them I'm going to look at them all now and and will post what I find. this engine might not be the right engine but my governor linkage is directly under the carburetor trying to figure out how to hook it up and get it to run. Any any more advice is well appreciate it and I will post it for others to see.

from what I figured out my carburetor linkage is on the wrong side. I manufacture date you toggle mounted on the exhaust for the governor to work the carb. Got it the Run maybe some bad valves but a little popping but I believe that's what my problem was and I appreciate it. Will post some photos soon thanks to everyone.
