Hi, I'm considering purchasing this machine. Can anyone help me put a year on it? The nameplate is still on the machine, but it has been painted over. I'm going to look at it tomorrow, I'll try and clean off the nameplate. The motor tag is legible though VH4D 448161 6254516 I ran the serial on Wisconsin's website and it comes up as a 1990 motor? Clean looking machine, body looks straight, studs all appear to be in good shape for the viewing panels. You'll have to decide on the mechanics of the machine. You will need the serial number to determine the exact year of manufacture…..the engine numbers mean nothing as far as the machine itself is concerned. They quit making the 610 in '82 so obviously the engine has been rebuilt/exchanged. Some features on that machine tell me it was built prior to mid 1978 but….again…need the serial number.

Thanks for the. Assuming that everything is operating properly, what's the market value for this machine?

I have about 15 of these things so I'm pretty hard nosed about not going over $3000 on a VERY nice machine but I've seen them go for double that on just fair machines. I haven't seen a 610 in many years that didn't have problems of some sort (they're 40-50 years old) that can easily run 1k-2k to correct. Parts machines I'm a player at $500 to $1000 depending on what parts are missing.
