S130 Bobtach Pins and Bushings

Hey guys, I'd like to swap the pins and bushings in my s130. is this a difficult job? or it it just simply unbolting/bolting new ones back in? do i need or torch or welder? sorry, unfamiliar with the process. if someone could kinda walk me thru the process. i just have a little slop and its getting to be a little pain in the ass to hook up my backhoe with the slop in the pins it wont tilt back all the way. thanks
 
Most of the time it’s not a terrible job unless they have gone too long and wore the bosses. Most will pound out with a hammer. I have heard of guys splitting tilt cylinder bushings with a sawzall to get the out.

Agreed, it depends on the wear really. Mostly they are ok, i think you will need or want a welder to collapse the bushings to make removal easier. I normally weld a steel rod to them and use a slide hammer to pull them out.

Good point on the welder. It’s something that many don’t know. If done properly they will drop right out

thats giong to be my issue. no welder (yet) i was hoping it was as simply as pounding the old ones out and bolting it back together
If you can get a good bite on it that will work. Someone on here bought a carbide tipped sawzall blade and split bushings with that. Otherwise a dremel or die grinder with a carbide can work to slice a slot in them to loosen them up
