there is a couple of buttons on right stick and on left to toggle i just dont know wicth one turns on hydraulicsOn the 743 the right hand drive stick worked the aux hydraulics, pull it toward you for one way and away for the other. I think it had a float position to the far right, but I'm not sure.
If there is no other controls, give that a try. On my 700, it has a 3rd pedal between the lift and tilt, probably not as versatile as the other, but definitely simpler.

742 right stick should move side to side. push all the way to the right to engage hydraulics for backhoe. should lock into place. buttons you are talking about could maybe be for rear aux hyraulicstrie playing with them then checked backhoe nothing
I wonder if someone has used handles off a newer machine and put it on yours. The right stick should control the aux hydraulics. Some times the lever is locked with a bolt for people that don't plan on using this feature.742 right stick should move side to side. push all the way to the right to engage hydraulics for backhoe. should lock into place. buttons you are talking about could maybe be for rear aux hyraulics
