Started about 1 month ago I ran the bucket into a tree pretty hard. The skid steer started making a whining noise almost like hydraulics were struggling or like the park was trying to engage. Machine RPM started going down and with noise I shut it off. I started it back up and it ran okay. Was running machine last night and it did the same thing last night minus hitting a tree or anything. Shut it down and ran tonight with no issues. Only have 485 hours on machine. I just recently had to repalace a front hydraulic hose to bucket piston from break in line. Replaced lost hydraulic oil with NH Master Gold 10w30. Any suggestions or ideas as I don't want to keep running it and damage anything further.

Just another thought as I doing some research...the sound was also similar to when I try to put too much in the bucket and the pressure relief valve kicks in. But just a little louder and the RPM's start dropping.

It's not as simple as the aux hydraulics being stuck on? I know some mechanical linkages can be bumped, especially when hitting a tree, it would cause the noise from running oil over the relief.
Start with the simple things first.

Kind of waited it out to see if it happened again, but hasn't. However, when I start the machine and it is warming up, the EIC will give a warning signal and flash VOLTS 16.5 really fast about every 20-30 seconds til warmed up. Any thoughts that this may be causing the solenoids to close up on hydraulics causing my issue? Battery is original and from 2008.

Volts at 16.5 could be the problem too, a bad alternator regulator could be over charging, making the computer go crazy.
