My 743 Bobcat jumps into gear when I start it even if the brake is on. it use to creep a little but now it actually jumps in gear and takes off. Sometimes even when i'm trying to start it. It has about 2600 hrs on it. any thoughts on what the problem may be would be appreciated. Thanks

Your T-bar bushing is probably shot by now.. Look at the play on the rockshaft the sticks are mounted on.. Theyres a bushing at the joijt of the two. Loader parts source makes a brass one. Then theres the slop thats gonna add up among all the pull rods at the bushings. And finally the swash plate levers have a centering mechanism that uses 2 rounds up against two blocks which get wear divots. You can replace them if you want, or just clean them up with a belt sander and readjust. My 742 was every bit as bad as yours and ive managed to get it solved without buying anything.
