Have a LX865 that I'm thinking about buying from a friend . He said it started and went about 50' and shut off . Fuel looked bad , so he pumped the tank and refilled . He had a price from the dealer of $3,000 plus , so he gave up . I cant get it to hit 1 time . Took the hose off of the intake manifold and no matter how much starting fluid i spray in it , it doesnt effect the engine turning over . If i place my hand over the intake and shut off all the air , it actually turns over faster . I have taken the valve cover off and the valves are moving . I got fuel coming out of the pipe that bolts to the injectors ( manual injectors ) . It doesnt turn over very fast . He said it has randomly spun slow and fast in the 10 years he has owned it . Anybody ever have anything like this ? Thanks for any advise
