Read an article saying to use NLGl No 1 grease when temperatures drop below 0 degrees Celcius (winter use) and NLGi No 2 grease when above the colder winter temperatures. Thoughts?
I don't know the specifics on those two, but if the temperature get too low, it will turn solid and stop lubricating. If you see below freezing temperatures, i can't see why you can't use the #2 grease, just use it more often in higher temperatures. It seems silly having to change grease every season....
