Today I brought home a CAT BH 30-W backhoe. I have a Mustang 2054 skidsteer.
The CAT backhoe has two bracket braces that attach to the CAT skidsteer. I have the piece that goes on the skidsteer but I am not really sure how it mounts. I also don't know the model number of the CAT skidsteer or the function of the braces other than I guess they would triangulate the backhoe for stability. Do the pins of the part that mounts on the skidsteer need to be a certain distance or angle from the attachment? I am thinking about mounting the pin plate forward a bit so I won't restrict my leg room in the Mustang.
I would imagine that I should attach the backhoe, place the braces on, and set the pins wherever it allows the stabilizers to be most vertical.
Otherwise the backhoe seems to work even though I have never owned a backhoe and have that learning curve ahead of me.
I was told there were 10 hours total on the backhoe.
