New Member from Iowa

I'm 64 and live in South Central Iowa, just off I 80 and 40 miles east of Des Moines. I am an avid gardener and have about 7,000 sq. ft of my 9 acres dedicated to that. That does not count the mini orchard that I have started. I'm something of a Gearhead and do-it yourselfer. So know a little about everything and not much about anything. Growing up my dad had a landscape and grading business, and I was the laborer. So know a little about it. Skidloaders were a newfangled development when I was still home, so am here to learn what ever I can about them. My father-in-law had a Case 1830 and due to his health I did run it quite a bit for him. Now that we are on the acreage, and there always seems to be a job or project that could or should be done it I had the equipment to do it. I'm looking for a skid loader.

Sounds like you have some good knowledge for running and repairing any machine you end up getting.
