Hello, picked up my first skid, a 2004 S185 and replaced axle bearings and seal. I noticed some side to side movement on the loader arm. Is this normal?
Likely need new pivot shaft cones Not sure what proper technical term is for pivots. May take a few spacer washers to take out remaining side to side slop.
I would check before replacing pivot shafts to make sure the pivot bolts are torqued tight.
If pivot system is similar to mine, you have to pull retaining rings, then use grease gun to blow end cap out to get to pivot bolts.
