I replaced the alternator in my 1999 JD 250, but the system still shows it is not charging. I am only getting 12.2 amps at the battery and alternator when running.I checked the resistor at the alternator and I am getting 47 ohms, like the book says. My 25 amp accessery fuse blows when I turn the key on, left or right. I unplugged all five lights, checked through all the wires for broken connections and checked ohms on 4 of the solenoids by the foot controls, they read .1 to .2. I tried a new fuse with lights unplugged and it blows the fuse instantly. The machine works and runs fine, just not charging and no head and tail lights.The dash lights work fine. I will take any help, I have been working on this for a few weeks now and getting nowhere fast. Thanks
