Yeah, I came to the same conclusion!

Only the last 1/8" of the keyway was damaged. The key is 1 1/2" long, so i think it will be okay. With the new set screws and clean threads I'm certain that it is tight this time. Thank you for all your replies!

So during the cold snap I was clearing the driveway with my newly repowered skidsteer, and the hydraulics simply quit. SUDDENLY. Not good. Worked fine when I took it out of the garage but it didn't like the below 0 temps and quit after about 20 minutes of work. I haven't taken it apart yet, but...

Thats helpful, thanks. I've already got a L225 coming in the mail, its slightly larger... I guess I will know in a few days if its wrong or not. Could very well be a L190... the existing one I have is kind of in-between the measurements of those two.

So old Gehl parts are non existent. I'm trying to find a new rubber coupling insert, but don't know what size the existing one is. The closest thing I can find is a Lovejoy L225... like this one...
