I have a Bobcat 873 that has apparently had the fuel tank pickup fall off in the tank. I want to replace the pickup but getting elbow out of the tank seems virtually impossible. It is one of those situations where I can reach down and around stuff and can feel the elbow but not see it. I can't...
I have an 873 also and have had to get OEM parts a couple of times. There are a couple dealers in my area but both are about 50 miles away so not a drive I really want to make. I have found that if I call them up and tell them what I need we are usually able to take care of ordering the parts...
Are you leaking hydraulic fluid anywhere. I had the same problem and it was caused by a pin hole leak in one of the steel hydraulic lines under my seat. The line had rusted due to contact with the insulating foam under the cab. Replaced the line and no more droop.
I just had the same problem you are describing with my 873. It turned out to be bad seals in the drive motor. We took it apart, put a new seal kit in it and it runs great now. Be prepared for a surprise on the cost of the seals. The seal kit for my motor was about $250 at the local Bobcat...
I put this on the Skid Steer forum but maybe this is a better place for it. I have a Bobcat 873 with a problem with the steering control arms. The left hand arm causes the left wheels to move forward and back as soon as it is moved from the neutral position. The right had arm has a lot more...
I have a Bobcat 873 with a problem with the steering control arms. The left hand arm causes the left wheels to move forward and back as soon as it is moved from the neutral position. The right had arm has a lot more travel that is required both forward and back before the right wheels will move...
I got to try this out last night. Turned on the switch and no light so I was disappointed. But as I raised the bucket it stayed level! Excellent. As said, it only works going up - not down but I'm happy it works and I know how to use it now.
How would I know if the option is installed? Is having the switch an indicator or did all the machines come with the switch even though they may not have had the option?
First off, thanks for the answers to my previous questions! Here's the next one - what does the bucket level switch do and how does it work? The operator's manual doesn't say anything about it other than what it is. Thanks again for any help!
I'm a new owner of a Bobcat 873. In the operator's manual, they speak of a float position for the lift arms to allow leveling of surfaces. They talk about pushing the toe end of the lift arm pedal down until it is in the "detent position". If I try to do that with the bucket tilted down all it...
I recently purchased a Bobcat 873 and want to replace the old torn up seat. I can't get the slide adjuster to work on it either. How is the seat held in and what do I need to do to remove it. I can't see any fasteners. Thanks for any help
