    753 Hydrostatic pump leak

So I noticed that i am getting hydraulic oil pooling up underneath the main belt at the motor. Looks like it must be coming from the input to the hydrostatic pump and running down toward the motor. Its not a terrible leak, but definitely leaking. From what i have read the motor has to come out...

    753 Fuel Sender Wiring

I just replaced my fuel sender (I ended up using a large basin wrench to get to it, its really tough to get to...). My gauge was not working. Before i took the old on out, i hooked up the new one outside of the tank, and it was working properly as i would slide the float up and down. Now that i...

    Bobcat 753 with a bradco 408 backhoe

Hello all. So i have a 753, and i also have bradco 408 backhoe. I don't really know the history, but i think the backhoe was originally on a case skidsteer and i have the bracket that went on the case. I am hoping i can modify it to fit the 753, but was hoping maybe someone had some pictures of...

    Fuel leak, 753

Thanks for the reply! I did take the connector loose and shorted the signal to ground and the gauge does move so was thinking it was the sending unit. Gauge looks oem so hoping i can get away with just the sender. Doesn't look like its going to be easy to get it in an out though....

    Fuel leak, 753

Thanks for the reply. I did find this thread, looks like a few people have fixed on their own. https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/kubota-v2203-injector-pump-problem.17933/ I have read fuel delivery can be affected, is this true or should it be safe to replace the orings mentioned...

    Fuel leak, 753

Hello all. I just purchased a bobcat 753, and I have found a few issues (i hope minor) that i need to repair. First is that there is a fuel leak when running. I have attached a picture, it appears to be leaking under the small blocks with the torx screws on them. Any thoughts on what i will...

Will kubota fit into a 742?

Sorry, i keep making new posts, just lots of questions :). I have no plans of taking the ford motor out of the 742 i just bought, but I am just curious in case i ever need to do a rebuild in the future. I have heard the 742 is identical to the 743 just a gas motor. If that is true, will the...

Bobcat 742 Need Parts, any ideas?

After some more research, looks like the 71,72,73 pinto or the 77,78,79 fiesta imports share the same motor. Some say the pinto, others the fiesta.

Bobcat 742 Need Parts, any ideas?

Well, i dont actually have the machine with me at the moment, since it did not run i decided to have it taken to my mechanic since he could unload it and keep it in his shop. He said that the distributor had a bad bushing in it and would be tough to repair. I have found a few threads that said a...

Bobcat 742 Need Parts, any ideas?

I have heard that early pinto eingine parts can be used on this engine. (one thread i found suggested the distributor would match up.) Napa has remans for 60 bucks so might try that route... fingers crossed.
