Will kubota fit into a 742?

Sorry, i keep making new posts, just lots of questions . I have no plans of taking the ford motor out of the 742 i just bought, but I am just curious in case i ever need to do a rebuild in the future. I have heard the 742 is identical to the 743 just a gas motor. If that is true, will the kubota fit right into the 742? Again no plans to do this right now, but at some point it might be an option...

Everything forward of the u-joint is pretty much the same depending on serial number but all the engine attachment parts are different(blower, blower housing, radiator and muffler, etc.)
